Break Out of the Acne Cycle

Break Out of the Acne Cycle
Most teenagers experience acne; and even a mild case is a curse during those awkward years.  However, for some, with a more severe, chronic type, it continues into adulthood, and becomes a permanent blight in their lives.  This is bad news, as it can even scar them – and in more ways than one.
The good news, though, is that we can treat not only the acne, but the scars that it may cause.  In fact, we have a variety of effective techniques, including laser, pulsed light therapy, chemical gel peels, deep, pore-cleansing facials, and collagen fillers.

So, if you’re plagued by continual break-outs, we’ll help you to break out of that vicious cycle, and you can start the New Year with a new look.

Spider Veins Have Legs

While spider veins and varicose veins are similar, they do have their differences.  For example, both kinds are formed when stagnant blood pools in the veins, and causes swelling.  They are also more common in women, and are often triggered by hormonal imbalances or pregnancy.

However, spider veins, which are just beneath the skin’s surface, are usually smaller, darker, and less serious, than the varicose variety.  Another distinction between the two is that, although mostly thought of as being on the legs, spider veins, perhaps quite appropriately, seem to have legs, as they can also travel to other areas of the body, including the face and chest.

Not to worry.  No matter which type you have, or where they’re located, with our Intense Pulse Light Therapy (IPL), a painless, ground-breaking new procedure, we can quickly exterminate any problem veins that may be bugging you.

Working Womens' Wednesday- An A-peeling Choice for Your Lunch Hour

If you’re sick of going home every evening looking tired and worn-out, come see us on Working Women’s Wednesday, for a “Lunchtime Peel.”  Technically known as microdermabrasion, it’s a pleasant, non-invasive procedure that gently exfoliates the skin, and stimulates new cell growth.

A great treatment for fine lines, sun-damaged skin, superficial scars, acne, and uneven skin tone, it will immediately improve the overall texture, elasticity, and tone of your complexion; and it requires no recovery time.

Just think – you can leave here, appearing relaxed and rejuvenated; and nobody will say, “Geez, you really must have had a rough day!”

It’s Just an Expression – But it Means so Much

With the holiday season officially underway, most people will be going to a lot of parties during the next few weeks.  What’s more, as these affairs will be characterized by high levels of glow, glitter, and glitz, many may want to show up sparkling as brightly as the Christmas lights.
The only trouble is that all of the socializing can make them feel as if they’re under a microscope, which leads some people to become self-conscious about minor flaws in their appearances, such as lines on their foreheads.
If this is your concern, we may be able to smooth things out for you with a 10-minute BOTOX treatment.  In this procedure, we’ll make a few, tiny injections into the muscles that are responsible for creating frown lines, thus blocking the chemical that causes them to contract, and enabling them to stay relaxed.

And don’t worry – it won’t affect your ability to smile, laugh, or show any other expressions.  So, even if you’re being bored to death by a big windbag, you can still feign interest his story!
