Get Varicose Veins, and You’ll Really be in Hot Water!
During
frigid weather, taking a nice, steamy bath is very comforting. It’s not always prudent, though, as hot water
dilates veins, thus contributing to their becoming varicose.
However,
elevating your legs for 30 minutes per day can improve blood flow. Therefore, if you must resist the urge to
soak, use the time wisely, and put your feet up, resting them on the edge of the tub as you relax.
Remember,
if you get varicose veins, you’ll really
be in hot water!
